After Hours: 4:30 p.m. to 8 a.m. Monday - Friday; Weekends; Holidays

The following are emergencies that Animal Control may respond to after-hours:

                                *Active bite/attack in progress 

                                *Active Aggression in a public area or at a commercial business

                                *Injured or sick animal, which requires immediate attention

                                *Active malicious animal cruelty in progress

The Mobile County Animal Control Officers enforce the Mobile County Dog Control Ordinance, including responding to and investigating animal welfare concerns, nuisance complaints, dog bites, animal attacks, strays roaming at large, and injured stray domestic animals. To request a welfare check on an animal, report a stray or injured animal, or an animal bite, or file a complaint about an animal during normal work hours, please get in touch with Mobile County Animal Control Dispatch at 251-574-3647.
