Planning and Development

The Planning and Development Department of Mobile County Engineering is responsible for the documentation and approval of divisions of land, site development permitting, right-of-way permitting, and general land disturbance permitting in areas outside the limits of the local municipalities. We work in cooperation with the local planning commissions as well as the Mobile County Inspections Department to confirm adherence to rules and regulations, both state and local, regarding development in the unincorporated areas of Mobile County.
