80 County Animals Looking for New Home

More than 80 unwanted animals at the Mobile County Animal Shelter will be looking for rescue at a special adoption event set for 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 18, at the county shelter, 7665 Howells Ferry Road. The shelter is offering for adoption more than 50 dogs and 32 cats. While the shelter is usually closed on the weekends, the shelter staff is holding its third special adoption event since moving into its new building April 1 to offer more opportunity to the public for adoptions. The adoption fee is $25. ###
