Black Softball Championships Set for Friday Here The 2013 Black Softball Circuit Spring Southeastern Championships is coming to Mobile County Friday when 60 men?s teams from outside the Mobile area will be trying to qualify for the BSC World Tournament. The weekend tournament will take place at two locations: Mobile County?s 66-acres of lighted ball fields at 2275 Leroy Stevens Road and at Medal of Honor Park in the city of Mobile at 1711 Hillcrest road. The Mobile Sports Authority Inc. expects about 1,200 visitors for the competition, which will have an estimated economic impact on the local economy of about $1.3 million.
