FREE ANIMAL ADOPTIONS START THIS WEEK

Posted on: Oct 22nd, 2014 | Announcements

Starting today, the public can pre-qualify to adopt Mobile County Animal Shelter dogs and cats for free if they are one year or older, and puppies and kittens are available for half price. You can pick out your pet and fill out a form to pre-qualify for the adoption this week at the shelter located at 7665 Howells Ferry Road. They will be available to take home at a special adoption event at the shelter set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday. Normally, adoption costs range from $80 to $30 depending on whether the animal is spayed and neutered and whether it is a dog or cat. The cost helps pay for spaying and neutering, a rabies shot, a 5-in-1 vaccination and a de-worming. For more information, please contact the Mobile County Animal Shelter at 251.574.DOGS (3647) or take a look at our animals at www.mobilecountyanimals.com. There are more than three dozen animals available for adoption today.
