November Adoption Special at Mobile County Animal Shelter

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. -- November adoption special at the Mobile County Animal Shelter, sponsored by District 2 Commissioner Connie Hudson:

  • Adoptable adult dogs (1 year and up) are fully sponsored = FREE to adopt  [17 currently available]
  • Puppies (<1 year) are partially sponsored = $40 to adopt [4 currently available]
  • Because November is “Adopt a Senior Pet Month,” all senior dogs (age 5+) adopted during the month will go home with a bag of dog food [2 currently available, Partick and Waller; pictured]

All Mobile County Animal Shelter adoptions include microchip, spay/neuter, flea and deworming treatments, rabies and other vaccinations, as well as heartworm testing for dogs over 6 months old.

This adoption special lasts through November. ADOPTION HOURS:

  • Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Treatments for any heartworm-positive dog are sponsored, too (thanks Mobile County PALS!!)

 

Many adoptable dogs have already been spayed or neutered and can leave for their forever home today!
