Mother's Day Adoption Event at Mobile County Animal Shelter

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. -- The annual “Are you my mother?” Mother’s Day adoption event will be held at the Mobile County Animal Shelter on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

There will also be a Mobile County Health Department reduced-fee rabies clinic at the shelter from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

 

Join the Mobile Area Association of Realtors, sponsors of this event, for hot dogs and snow cones, as well as door prizes, activities, and games. They're also providing goody bags of supplies go home with each dog or puppy adopted on Saturday.

 

40+ adult dogs are fully sponsored (no adoption fees).

17 puppies are partially sponsored ($40 or less to adopt).

Mobile County Animal Shelter adoptions include microchip, spay/neuter, flea and deworming treatments, rabies and other vaccinations, as well as heartworm testing for dogs over 6 months old. Treatments for any heartworm-positive dog are sponsored thanks to Mobile County PALS!!
