Santa's Coming Early to the Mobile County Animal Shelter

Posted on: Dec 17th, 2009 | News and Announcements

It?s the perfect Christmas gift: Santa and a new puppy. Kids can have it all at a special adoption event from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., on Saturday, December 19, at the Mobile County Animal Shelter. They can get their pictures taken with Santa from noon until 2 p.m., and make their wishes for any of the more than 90 homeless animals looking for a caring home for the holidays. There will be a large selection of kittens, cats and puppies and dogs available for adoption. The Azalea Trail Maids will also make a special appearance at the Christmas Adoption, while local students will provide holiday cheer with caroling. Admission to the event is free, and refreshments will be provided. All animals will be vaccinated with first shots, and fees for adoption ranges between $10 and $25. Animal can be viewed at www.mobilecountyanimals.com. For more information about the Christmas adoption event, call 574-3647.
