South Mobile County Road Closures for Railroad Crossing Work

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. – Padgett Switch Road and Irvington-Bayou LaBatre Highway in south Mobile County are closed to through traffic just south of Highway 90 for work on the railroad crossings.

Work began the morning of Jan. 19 and will continue at least through Jan. 20.  Suggested detours are Beverly Road or Argyle Road and Bellingrath Road. Signage has been placed in the area. 

Potter Tract Road, just south of Highway 90, will be closed to through traffic on Jan. 20 and 21 for similar work. The suggested detour is Highway 188.
