Calling softball, soccer, football players and disc golfers to West Mobile County Park’s fields and course!

Mobile County is the home of many famous athletes – youth sports and league play are important to our local sports legacy. Make plans to participate in outdoor fun, cultivate friendships, and enjoy healthy competition!

West Mobile County Park has expanded to more than 70 acres including:

• eight lighted ball fields for softball, soccer and football games
• 18-hole Terri Mosley Memorial Disc Golf Course for both leisure and tournament play
• restrooms, concession areas, picnic tables and a playground
   

West Mobile County Park offers girls’ softball/fast pitch (ages 4 to 18 years old), adult softball leagues (men, women, coed and church), flag football and youth soccer (spring season). Games are played throughout the week

The Blackhawks’ youth league accepts registrations and plays during the spring and fall months and includes soccer, flag football, football and cheerleading.

Disc golf plays year-round with no registration or reservation required. For additional info on organized disc golf play, visit www.pdga.com. Please contact the park to schedule disc golf tournaments in advance.

 

West Mobile County Park hosts many regional tournaments throughout the year. For example, a July 2022 Babe Ruth regional baseball tournament using all eight fields for 6U (T-ball World Series) and 8U (Southwest Regional Tournament) teams. 

 

Future plans are underway and include an accessible splash pad and a playground expansion. Stay tuned for updates on the improvement project progress.

• Being considerate of all guests in the park - no profanity or fighting.
• Parking only in designated areas.
• Not bringing alcohol, illegal drugs, or firearms.
• Keeping pets off the ball fields.
• Adhering to league information and rules.
